-UK, London
-Paris, France
-Italy, Rome
-Turkey, Istanbul
-Germany, Amsterdam
-Greece, Athens
-Spain, Barcelona

I live in Istanbul, and it has a lot to offer. It is the city I love best.
I had loved Barcelona. I had loved it more than London or Paris or Rome. It has something for every kind of tourist. If you love to swim, it has sea, if you want to shop, it has shops, if you want museums , it has museums, it has cable cars to see the city from.. It is a very tourist friendly city.
If you love history, Rome can be the city of your life. If you don't like history, you won't like Rome.
Although not in your list, I had loved Venice_Italy. That's a city different from everywhere.
Amsterdam is not in Germany but in Holland. It is a very nice city.It's the Venice of the north with canals and everything.
